From a Farewell to a Hello

Updated: Dec 30, 2020

During the summer, I had used the Weebly platform for a blog that was provided to me by my seventh grade English teacher, and from there, I moved my work to a separate, more personal page. I kept to a steady schedule for a couple of weeks but soon realized that it was not what I was looking for in a website.

To everyone who is reading, hello! I am very privileged and proud to have accomplished my goal for 2020—publish a new blog and create an online portfolio! It may not seem like much for now, but I promise that over the year, I will post and share my work as a writer, as well as my photography pieces.

I've worked alone for most of the projects that I publish, and this has taken much thought and time to put together. As a middle schooler, I believe that the power of expression at a young age is what can bring out the best in creative individuals—and I hope to showcase that as best as I can on my website.

Although some of my work will be better and worse than others, I do strive to share the best inspirational pieces I can. I have a lot to learn, and I would love to share my journey with you!

I favor a minimalist, cozy style in my projects, and I find that keeping life simple can really make the difference. As you can probably tell, I love to take pictures of family, landscapes, and film on subjects that I feel need more acknowledgment. I hope that what I have put out will inspire you and that you will continue to support this blog for as many years that I will publish.
