My art reflects a big part of my personality: the summer season.

​Warm, bright, positive, short, and new.

Growing up in San Francisco as an only child loving art,  I became sensitive to the world.  I am a storyteller, a director, and an editor. 

At my visual and performing arts high school, I took an interest in mixing camera mediums and narrative forms to tell my family’s stories through my short films. I realized the art I loved traced back to my heritage, and the things in life I tend to overlook. I learned to embrace them in the process of becoming who I am. 

 

Asian female voices are unrepresented in the filmmaking community. My focus is on celebrating the beauty of heritage and making Asian storytelling accessible everywhere.  

 

I have multiple interests in film that I am still exploring: climate awareness and femininity. I believe with great art comes a strong sense of empathy and dreams of change. I dedicate my art to sharing messages and emotions, and truly loving the world around us.
